Description
The inspiration for creating vistas comes from the landscapes around me, from the rolling hills of the North West of England to the wetlands of the Ebro Delta and the Els Ports mountain range in the Tarragona province of Spain
Each of my landscapes is created using glass and glass frit which is a fine powder similar to icing sugar.
Every piece is fired twice in the kiln for approximately 15 hours each. They are cooled to room temperature and hand finished to ensure there are no sharp edges, then they are mounted onto the frame
This particular landscape was created using shades of blue and purple.
The frame measures 12 x 12 cm and the artwork is approx. 6.5 x 6.5 cm

All my glass designs are hand made in my small studio which alternates between the North West of England and Tarragona province in the North East of Spain.
My passion for glass art started only a few years ago after a visit to a local glass artists studio who was offering a taster day class …. four coasters, a wall hanging and a pot stand later I was hooked!
Due to the hand creation of the vistas as well as the firing process no two items are ever identical. I photograph and list all items individually and I therefore guarantee that the image that you see is the actual product that you will receive.
